In this 10-hour workshop Chris Brennan demonstrates how the ruler of the Ascendant or “Hour-Marker” is used in Hellenistic astrology in order to determine information about the nature and quality of a person’s life.

As one of the core rulers of the chart, the domicile lord of the Hour-Marker can be used in order to identify the native’s focus, direction, and sometimes purpose in life, as well as other things such as matters related to their health, physical vitality, and behavioral characteristics. 

During the course of the lecture we review the significations that the Hellenistic astrologers originally associated with each of the twelve houses, and then use over 70 example charts in order to show how the topics associated with specific houses can indicate dominant themes in a person’s life when the ruler of the Ascendant is located in a particular house.
