About the Horary Astrology Course

The purpose of this course is to provide an introduction to horary astrology, which is a branch of astrology that is used to answer a question by casting a chart for the moment the question is asked.

The course covers the history, philosophy, and practice of horary astrology, and students will finish the course with a solid foundation in the subject, and the ability to answer horary questions in practice.

The course is presented online through a private course site that each student gains access to immediately upon registering.

The course is co-taught by astrologers Chris Brennan and Rob Bailey.

Early Access to a New Course

This course was originally created by Chris Brennan in 2011 and consisted of four lectures, but we are currently in the process of revising and expanding the course to be much more comprehensive and up-to-date. The new course will have 12 core sections, with extensive video lectures for each section.

We decided to make the course available as a work in progress while we are in the process of expanding it, since it is one of the only places where students can learn the practice of whole sign horary from the late Hellenistic and early Medieval astrological traditions.

New lectures started being added to the current course in late 2022, and we are on track to finish adding all of the new lectures by the end of 2024. So when you sign up for the course now you get access to the original four lectures in the course, as well as what is currently about half of the lectures from the new course.

New students who sign up for the course now will be grandfathered in, and will get access to all of the new lectures as they are added to the course at no additional cost, as well as to the final course once it is completed. You will also get access to the course at a discount, since we plan to raise the price of the course once it is finished.

Please just be aware that the new course is a work in progress, and will be until we are finished recording the rest of the new lectures.
